Terms and Conditions

Please note that a course will run providing minimum numbers have been met. In the event that minimum course numbers are not met you will be offered the following options:

  • Transfer your registration to the next available course.

  • Transfer your registration to another WSP ETC Training Course.

Course Prerequisites

Course Attendees must ensure that they meet all course prerequisites.


Course registration(s) are not confirmed until payment is received. Unless payment is received 10 days before the course, the student cannot be guaranteed a place on the course.

Payment Terms

Payment is required within 10 days of receiving tax order and prior to the course running. If the course has an attendance limit, then prepaid enrolments will have priority. WSP ETC will withhold sending of any course certificates or completion materials, awarding unit standards, or marking of course assessments until course payment has been made.

Acceptable payment forms are by Bank Transfer or Credit Card.

Please be aware that bank transfers can take up to three days to clear.

If a course is rescheduled or cancelled due to lack of numbers, or any other valid reason, you will be advised 10 days before the course and your course fee will be refunded in full or a place on alternative course be offered.

Participants are responsible for their own travel/accommodation bookings and no compensation will be made should the course be rescheduled or cancelled.

Course Cancellation, Transfers and Registrant Change Policies

Course Cancellations

If you withdraw from a course in writing or email more than ten working days prior to the course, you will receive a full refund less $50 administration fee. If you withdraw within ten working days, you will receive a 50% refund. Regrettably, if you do not attend the course and have not advised us in writing or by email before the course date the full fee will apply. No refunds for "No Shows", however, you will be sent the training material upon request.


Refunds will only be issued on confirmed receipt of written cancellation ten or more working days prior to course. No refund for "No Shows". We require an electronic copy of a printed deposit slip or a screenshot from electronic banking showing the bank account number in order to process a refund.

If the course fee has been paid by credit card we will make the refund back to the same credit card payment was made on.


You can transfer a registrant to another course three days or more prior to the course start date. You will be charged or refunded any differences in the course price.

You are not able to transfer registrants within two days of the course start date.

Registrant Change

You can change the name of the registrant on a course to another person at any time prior to the course provided the person being changed to meet any course prerequisites.

WSP Environmental Training Centre Covid 19 Vaccine Policy

WSP Environmental Training Centre is a Tertiary Education Organisation providing training throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.

WSP will be requiring all ākonga (learners) and kaimahi (staff) for onsite course delivery to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and to show proof of vaccination (through the My Covid Pass system) at all training sites as part of New Zealand’s new COVID-19 Protection Framework.

By only providing a vaccinated training site we are ensuring our people, our clients, whānau and communities are protected by operating in the safest way, and significantly reducing the risk of COVID-19 spreading because of our training operations.

If you are unable to ensure the training participants are fully vaccinated, we will need to seek alternative arrangements for the service to be delivered. Please let me know if that is the case and we can discuss what options are available.

What this means for our ākonga (learners)

If you are enrolling on a WSP onsite course being delivered from 1 January 2022, you will be contacted in advance outlining our policy and ask you to acknowledge and observe it when you attend a course.

In addition to using the COVID-19 tracer app to scan in on arrival, you will be asked for proof of your vaccination status by showing your My Vaccine Pass to our service hosts.

For anyone who is not fully vaccinated, we ask that you to contact us so we might arrange an alternative to attending our training sites.
