The course involves both theory and practical assessment to relevant NZQA unit standards. Successful completion of the course will allow people to apply to the relevant local authority and register with them to become an Independently Qualified Person (IQP) to carry out backflow work in that area.

It will ensure you still have all the skills and knowledge required to test and inspect backflow devices.
