If you have already attended a Principles and Trends course or a certificate or diploma level course you can use this as Recognition of prior learning (RPL) to attend a two day course which includes a field trip and case study and assessment.

Waste Stabilisation Ponds remain the most common form of wastewater treatment in New Zealand. However, entry-level training for operators of Waste Stabilisation Ponds ended with significant changes to New Zealand Wastewater qualifications in 2019. WSP has recognised the need for qualification-based training by developing the new Certificate in Waste Stabilisation Ponds (Micro-credential), Level 3, 20 credits.

The aim of the course is to enable Chairs whose certification expires to gain re-certification and for potential new Chairs to gain endorsement, develop the skills and behaviours required of a Chair and to share your experiences and gain knowledge from other Chairs.
